KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi has always urged his players to stand out and be counted when it matters most.

The Sunday 2018/2019 Total CAF Confederation Cup return leg playoff has presented itself with an opportunity that Mutebi always talks of.
“Such moments are always part of the game and they are meant to define us,” Mutebi told www.football-256.com.
“My players have a lot of belief that they can do it. When the players believe in themselves, it’s a good sign and they have gathered enough experience to know how to negotiate such a tie,” he added.
“These players have the ability to get us out of this situation because we got ourselves there and nothing should stop us from overcoming the challenge in front of us,” he added.

Mutebi is expected to make changes from the team that started against Otoho in Congo, starting with defense, peter Magambo who has been away for studies returned for training and is expected to start ahead of Filbert Obenchan who didn’t have a very good outing.
With Ssenjobe injured, Hassan Musana is likely to complete the back three with skipper Timothy Awany, Kizza Mustafa will be pushed on the left side of the five in midfield as Herbert Achai wait on the bench.
Muzamir Mutyaba, Allan Okello, and Gift will operate through the middle with Julius Poloto on the right with the mission of out numbering Otoho in midfield.
Patrick Kaddu and Allan Kyambadde are expected to keep the Otoho defense on tenterhooks on a day that is expected to revive KCCA FC’s international season.

“It will be a failed season internationally if we don’t advance because we have made it a habit at least for the last two seasons, Mutebi said in the Friday post-match press conference”
KCCA FC have lost just once on the continents, that was against Esperance during the 2018 Total CAF Champions’ League Group stages although they haven’t put up a show they are expected to put up on Sunday.
Scoring four unanswered goals will be a first for the Lugogo side and one that will put them somewhere close to the immortals of the continent.
