Livingstone Mbabazi is on a collision course with his Kyetume FC board because he is not entirely happy with some of the decisions taken and the ridiculous approach towards players.

Mbabazi launched an extraordinary rant at the club bosses after his side crashed to a third consecutive draw in the league against Busoga United.

The former Onduparaka and Wakiso Giants coach did not hold back over the lack of respect for the welfare of his players, and admitted the club is in absolute shambles off the pitch.

“The club is in shambles, there is no respect for anybody,” Mbabazi told Football256, adding; “Somethings I have seen happen here, I have never seen anything like this in my football career.”

“Everything is wrong, there are people at the top who are against the progress of this club and are fighting against me; they are driving us back,” he added.

After a transfer window of much content, Mbabazi felt the team was in prime shape to challenge higher than where they finished last season.

But affairs at the club have since faced a downward spiral, with players growing ever discontented with their welfare as the club has defaulted on monthly arrears.

The strain on Mbabazi and his team has shown through this period where they have twice blown away early leads against Wakiso and Kitara FC.

Mbabazi however, is determined to fight on at the club but mainly out of a sense of duty to the players he has signed and his two-year contract he signed in August.

“People have judged me for moving from club to club, but they don’t know how big a struggle it is to coach at some of these clubs,” he said.

“What we are facing right now as a team is challenging, and difficult especially for the players, but I wont throw in the towel just yet.”

“We have a great group of lads and despite the shortcomings, we shall fight on and try win games and perform well not only for ourselves but for the club’s fans as well who deserve better.”

“What is going on off the pitch has affected us, but the season is still young and only a couple of games old. It is not yet a deep hole, we can climb back,” Mbabazi stated.

Kyetume lies seventh on the log with three points from three games, they will host UPDF FC in their next game on Wednesday, December 15.
