Onduparaka forward Muhammad Shaban is reportedly set to complete his move back to thirteen-time Uganda Premier League Champions, KCCA FC.
According to multiple reports, the temperamental striker sucessfully underwent his medical at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Wednesday, and is now pending unveiling on a two-year contract.
The 24 year old spent the 2021/22 campaign at the West Nile giants, where he scored 15 goals, helping them survive relegation.
This was after an unsuccessful two-season spell at league champions Vipers SC (2019-2021), after enduring a series of injury setbacks.
Meanwhile, the prolific marksman was at the Lugogo outfit before, in the 2017/18 season where he scored 13 league goals, before making a big money move to Moroccan powerhouse, Raja Casablanca.
In North Africa (2018-2019), a number of injuries and other unverified reasons led to an unsuccessful stint, before he moved back to Uganda.
If the move materializes, Shaban will become the seventh signing for the ‘Kasasiro Boys’ after Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, Allan Enyou, Tshisungu Kankonde and Mohamed Ssenoga Kagawa.
