URA FC forward Steven Desse Mukwala is moments away from completing a move to Ghanaian powerhouses, and two-time CAF Champions League winners, Asante Kotoko.
According to credible sources, the 23-year-old has agreed on a two-year contract with the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League champions, pending unveiling.
The prolific goal-scorer fell out with the Tax Collectors towards the end of the preceding campaign after reported indiscipline, with the club deciding against renewing his contract.
The Uganda Cranes striker joined the Taxmen in 2020 and has spent two hugely successful seasons where he scored a whopping 27 goals over two league campaigns, including netting 13 times last season.
Asante Kotoko, are currently set to travel to Turkey for pre-season ahead of the 2022/23 season, and the ex-Vipers SC and Maroons FC player is set to be part of the travelling contingent.
The Porcupine Warriors will spend two weeks in the European country preparing to defend their title. The team will leave Ghana on August 15, 2022, and will be in Turkey till August 30.
Asante Kotoko will play a series of friendlies against some Turkish clubs before returning to Ghana for the start of the league in September.
