Uganda Cranes left back Joseph has signed a contract extension at his club TP Mazembe.
According to the information published on the club’s official website, Ochaya signed a two-year deal which will keep him at the club until 2022.
“TP Mazembe is pleased to announce the extension of Joseph Benson Ochaya’s contract for two more seasons, until September 2022,” the statement reads.
“Joseph Benson Ochaya and management agreed on Sunday September 6th,” it continues.
Ochaya joined TP Mazembe from Zambian side Lusaka Dynamos in 2018 and he has helped them to the 2018/2019 Vodacom Ligue 1 title.
Elsewhere, he has played KCCA FC, Asante Kotoko in Ghana and Vietnamese side Sai Gon.
He made Uganda Cranes debut in 2013 and since then he has played 46 games and scored two times.
