Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Okello conducted his first training session with KCCA FC on Friday following his return from Algeria’s AC Paradou.
The unexpected news broke on Tuesday evening that KCCA and Paradou had agreed to a one-year loan deal for Okello’s return to his boyhood club.
Three days later, the 22-year-old touched base at the Entebbe International Airport on Friday morning from Algeria and was straight up for business at Lugogo.
Okello only left KCCA two years ago in February 2020 signing for Paradou on a four-year contract.
However, the move has not yielded fruits as many expected for the talented attacking midfielder who struggled for playing time amongst other challenges.
It is reported that the inaugural 256 Footballer of the Year declined a deal to join another Algerian club on loan.
He preferred a return to KCCA to try and relaunch his career and he is in contention to make his second debut for the Kasasiro Boys.
Okello could feature when KCCA host Wakiso Giants FC in the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League opener on Saturday, October 1.
