Tension and anxiety has been the order of the day for Onduparaka administrators and the fans due to the news they would host their home games away from home at Luzira after GreenLight stadium got disqualified due to failure to meet standard.
The Arua based club however worked tirelessly to ensure the Green grass and the self contained dressing rooms demanded by the FUFA Club Licensing Committee were brought to existence before the season kick off.
And as of Wednesday evening, FUFA official Mike Leti posted in the fans whatsapp group about the endorsement of the ground.
“Good news, good news, good news!!!!! Greenlight has just been cleared to host home matches starting with the next home match after the Police match. Due to the 48 hour information rule administratively it was now impossible to have the first match at home. God is great!!!,” reads the post.
It is a public secret that Police FC that are Onduparaka’s first opponent are out of the country in honour of East Africa Police organized games leaving a question of the possibility of honoring their first fixture.

“For us we shall go for the game and dress up in the colors and hopefully get the three points in case Police doesn’t show up. The boys are still in Arua but tomorrow they will travel to Kampala,” Otelul told www.football-256.com.
The StarTimes Premier League fixture shows The Caterpillars will host Police FC on 30th August at 4:00 PM.
