Onduparaka hopes to field in their longest serving player Gasper Adriko against Busia Young in their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 fixture on December 23rd in Busia.
The Onduparaka born has been out of action for about seven months following an injury he sustained in the game against UPDF in March last season.
Adriko who was advised by medics to abstain from football although seemingly could play, fully recovered last month and has been sanctioned.
“I no longer feel pains I used to feel while playing. I am fully fit and ready to deliver if given chance,” Adriko told www.football-256.com.
During the fullback’s dark days, Onduparaka sought for the services of Okot and Agandu who excuted duties to expectations.
As a result of positive response from the training, the right back who travelled with the team to Kampala on Friday morning enroute to Busia, Eastern Uganda is available for selection.
“In regards to the competition from other players who play similar position: I am not afraid. If given chance I will deliver my best,” added.
The furthest Onduparaka have gone in this competition was in 2015 when they lost to Vipers 3-1 in the finals.
