After qualifying as the champions of the CECAFA region for the finals of the Total U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Finals next year in Tanzania, Cubs head coach Peter Onen promises a good show.
The Cubs were drawn in Group A alongside hosts Tanzania, Angola and Nigeria ahead of the April 14th to 28th, 2019 tournament.
‘We shall prepare well enough to get the best results. I trust my team has been looking forward to the draw,” Onen told www.fufa.co.ug.
“The fans in Tanzania will be out to enjoy another brand of great football from the Champions Uganda as they face Angola and Nigeria.”
“We know Tanzania will be seeking revenge against my boys on the pitch but we know how to handle such situations that come with pressure,” he added.
Part of Onen’s task will be to make sure the Cub qualify out of their group, which will also guarantee them qualification to the 2019 U17 FIFA World Cup.
