The long awaited top flight fixture at Barokoro Stadium finally came as Paidha Black Angels hosted Nyamityobora in the 2018/2019 StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Fans have spent days and nights at the venue waiting for the D-day and when that day finally came, the Chief of Kaal Omua Chiefdom of Paidha Emmanuel Kermu Rwoth Was never going to miss the historical moment.

By lunch the stadium was full to capacity ready for kickoff and once the game finally started, the singing and dancing also intensified as two relegation candidates faced off. It’s Dickens Okwir’s brace that separated both sides as he scored a goal in each half of the game.
Although the win wasn’t enough to get them off the bottom of the 16 team log, their only consolation is that they are separated by a goal difference with 15th placed Nyamityobora.
