St. Lawrence University have advanced to the final of the Pepsi University Football League for the second straight season.
St. Lawrence earned a comfortable 3-0 victory with goals coming from Michael Kayongo, Bruno Bunyaga, and Herbert Abima’s own goal in the 16th, 47th and 79th minute respectively in Nakawa on Tuesday to win the tie 5-1 on aggregate.
St. Lawrence had won the first leg 2-1 thanks to goals from Kayongo and Bunyaga while MUBS scored their goal through Benjamin Nazar in Kavule last week.
In 2019, St. Lawrence lost the final to Uganda Christian University 2-1 in the penalty shootouts after a 3-3 stalemate in 2019.
St. Lawrence will be hoping to be second time lucky when they face Uganda Martyrs University in the final to be played at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday, November 12th.

Uganda Martyrs will be playing their first final since 2017 when they defeated MUBS 2-0.
