Proline FC is on brink of making a StarTimes Uganda Premier League return after just one season in the StarTimes FUFA Big League.
The Shafic Bisaso coached side have three games to make their dream a reality, starting with a win against Kiboga on Thursday.
They need to win all their remaining three fixtures in order to play top flight football in the 2019/2020 season.
“Its not a do or die affair but it’s a hard game because both sides are fighting for top spots, we are very ready to confront them though they are a good side,” Bisaso told www.football-256.com.
“We are ready to win in Kiboga just like they defeated us in the first round at our home ground, so we are up for maximum points because they mean a lot for the team’s future.”
“The team is highly motivated from our 9-0 win in the previous game, we want the same performance against Kiboga,” he added referring to their jaw dropping victory against Bumate FC.
Proline are leading the Rwenzori group with 37 points, four points above Kiboga Young who are third with 33 points. Kansai Plascon is second with also 34 points.
“We are ready and focused to win tomorrow’s game, we are looking for maximum points from this game,” Proline captain Noordin Bunjo said.
With three games to go, Rwenzori Group is so competitive with Proline, Kansai Plascon, Kigoba Young and Doves FC all having a realistic chance of direct qualification. which team will be promoted automatically to Uganda’s top flight.
