Wakiso Giants midfielder Rahmat Ssenfuka underwent a medical at KCCA FC with a possible move to the 13 time League champions.
If he does pass the medical, Ssenfuka the former Vipers Sports Club player is expected to put pen to paper to deal of two to three years subject to agreement with his current employers Wakiso Giants.
There have been calls from sections of fans in Lugogo to manager Mike Mutebi, they want their team to be reinforced.
Many feel the team needs to be competetive with the Leauge and Uganda Cup their ultimate target this season after their elimination in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Rahmat comes with experience in the middle having been a Uganda Premier League player since 2012 when Proline signed him from Kibuli SS after writing his S6 examinations.
He has played for Police FC and Vipers before joining Wakiso Giants and his abilities at all those addresses are not questioned.
If signed by KCCA FC, his wealth of experience will compliment already existing midfielders in Gift Ali, Ashraf Mugume and Lorenzo Mazengo depending on how Mutebi prefers to use him.
He might also be KCCA FC’s only January signing since the window closes on January 31st and they have not made any acquisitions in this window.
