FUFA Big League leading goal scorer Patrick Kaddu has been in red-hot form so far this season and has been rewarded with the Fortebet Real Stars Sports Monthly Award for December in the football category.
Kaddu leads the scorers’ charts in the FBL with 14 goals in 14 games four of which were scored in December hence winning the award.
The Uganda Cranes forward’s four goals in December came during his side Kitara FC’s all three games played during the previous month.
He scored a brace during Kitara’s 4-1 win over Kyetume FC while he was on target once in the 4-0 apiece victories over Ndejje University FC and Luwero United FC.
Kaddu’s good performance has been key for Kitara so far as they are the table leaders of the 16-team FBL log level on 27 points with NEC FC but the Pride of Bunyoro has a better goal difference.
He pipped teammate Edson Agondeze and Vipers SC captain Milton Karisa to the accolade.
Apart from football, netball, rugby, boxing, golf, cricket, badminton, and athletics are the other sports discipline that saw winners rewarded at the ceremony held at Route256 Restaurant in Lugogo on Tuesday.
