Express FC manager George Ssimwogerere is certainly an unhappy man, the Cranes legend and his charges are coming off a 1-0 loss to URA in their last StarTimes Uganda Premier outing.
They have a chance to get back to winning ways when they host struggling Paidha Black Angles at the Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
Rooted at the bottom of the league table, Paidha have managed only two wins from 24 league games this season, they have also conceded the highest number of goals (41).
And matters have not been helped by the team’s failure to have a permanent manager, two managers have already been shown the exit door with Anthony Ssekitto now at the helm.
Express will hope the return of striker Eric Kambale boosts the front line along with experienced strikers Brian Umony and Tony Odur. Express sit eleventh on 29 points and a win will take them to 9th on the log level with Police FC.
In the other fixture, Kirinya Jinja SS are hoping to return to winning ways after their 2-0 loss to KCCA FC when they host Bright Stars.
Fred Kajoba’s side have fallen from grace having started the season on a high, they sit 10th just three points behind Kirinya.
Bright Stars’ skipper and lead striker Nelson Ssenkatuka will be expected to break the hosts’ defence for a victory.
