Six-time league champions Express FC are not about to stop making headlines in the transfer window after they unveiled their seventh signing in youthful winger Baker Sakah.
At 19 years, Sakah a product of Zana High School brings along speed in attack, a component Wasswa Bbosa lacked at the tail end of last season, Sakah states that joining the Red Eagles is the biggest achievement so far in his career.
“Firstly, I would like to thank the club for giving me this opportunity, for me it’s a dream come true and my biggest achievement in my career so far,” Sakah told the club website after putting pen to paper before adding;
“I know what’s at stake and I can’t wait to get dirty, the fans should expect hard work and consistency.”
With two goalkeepers, a centre back, a midfielder and striker already signed in the transfer window, it’s evident Bbossa is still boosting his attack and this might not be his last capture.
The Red Eagles are chasing the elusive seventh league title they last won in 2012 and at worst a top-four finish which was last achieved in the 2015/16 season.
