Struggling SC Villa hosts Jinja based BUL FC at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Saturday in Startimes Uganda Premier League looking for three points from this encounter in order to distance themselves from the relegation griefs.

The 16-time league champions’ assistant coach Simon Mugerwa has clarified the worth of three points from tomorrow’s game when talking to www.football-256.com during Friday’s last training.

“We are well prepared for tomorrow’s game, because our strategy is to win first round’s remaining two games. We will fight for three points from tomorrow’s game,” said Mugerwa before adding.

“Tomorrow’s (Saturday) game will act as a precursor towards our last game against Police FC, and also to prepare for the Uganda Cup game against Nkambi Coffee FC.”

“Our strategy is to attack because we are home where we must give out everything to get maximum points, so we call our fans to come in large numbers so that we can get the three points.”

“We have some injury scares with our goalkeeper and some defenders, but those who are fit are well prepared to fight for three points,” Mugerwa added.

The hosts will have to be with Bashir Mutanda in his finest form, Mutanda is the current leading goalscorer in the league with nine strikes to his name.

The last ten meetings between the two sides have seen Villa win four times, BUL just twice and four statements have been registered.

SC Villa is just a position and five points ahead of relegation zone with 13 points from 13 outings with just two wins, seven stalemates and four losses.

A win from tomorrow’s game will shift them to 11th position with 16 points. BUL FC is ninth with 19 points from 13 games and a win from tomorrow’s game will take them at 22 points.
