Kenyan Premier League leaders Gor Mahia have completed the signing of former Tusker FC captain Hashim Sempala on a two-year deal.
This comes weeks after a reported fall out between the player and Tusker FC coach Robert Matano who then decided to banish the player from his squad and the training ground.
K’ogalo announced the former BUL FC’s man arrival hours before the mid-season window closed on Monday midnight.
“Gor Mahia sign midfielder Hashim Sempala from Tusker. The Ugandan signed a two-year-deal. Welcome Sempala,”Gor Mahia tweeted.
Sempala joined Tusker FC in June 2016 and played a critical role that season in helping the club win the league and the GOtv Shield titles under coach Paul Nkata.

He grew to become one of Tusker’s key players and early this year, he was named team captain. His exit from the Brewers camp is a blow to an already struggling side.
His arrival takes the number of Ugandan players at Gor to three. The others are Shafik Batambuze and Erisa Ssekisambu.
