Simba, in the CAF champions league, are pooled in Group C alongside Vipers SC, Raja Casablanca and Horoya SC but have blown hot and cold this season.
They are not only five points adrift league table leaders and arch rivals Yanga but were also recently bundled out of the Mapinduzi cup in Zanzibar.

Newly appointed head coach Roberto Oliviera will be hoping to hit the ground running after the warm weather training camp when the NBC premier league resumes on 17th January.
Matchday three in group C will see Simba face Vipers SC in Kampala on 24/25 of February before the return leg about 12 days later in Dar-es-Salaam.
