South Sudan Football Association receives soccer aid from UEFA Foundation

On Tuesday morning, South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) received a donation of one thousand soccer balls for children from Cross Cultures Open Fun Football a project funded by UEFA Foundation.

The donation is meant to support children and attract them closer to football as SSFA works hard to develop the game in the country.

“I appreciate Cross Culture Open Fun Football for the donation of these balls,” Francis Amin, President of SSFA delightfully told the press.

“This awesome cause will support the development of football through the grassroots levels,” he concluded.

Amin commended the efforts by the partners of SSFA in contributing towards sports especially football development in the South Sudan.

He further confirmed that the donation will be distributed to Awiel, Yei Wan and Kuajok to support the underage teams.

Barakat Tirkale, a representative of Cross Cultures Open Fun Football expressed his contentment to deliver the package to SSFA as part of the association’s contribution towards football development in South Sudan.

Barakat also confirmed there is still a lot in the pipeline with another 1000 soccer balls grant expected to be handed to the Eastern Equatorial Region to help in promoting underage football that will produce stars for tomorrow.
