Sports stakeholders to benefit from Thought Leadership Workshop

The leading online sports betting company in Uganda, Betway is set to host the second Thought Leadership workshop at Golden Tulip Hotel in Kampala.

The two-day event will run from Tuesday June 18th to Wednesday June 19th under the theme ‘Sports inspirational learning and experience sharing’.

The workshop is intended to benefit sports stakeholders in the industry with development of sports in Uganda at the top of the agenda.

“This is a great opportunity for sports stakeholders to learn, share experience as well as pass on the knowledge to other sports organizations,” Betway Country Manager Adellah Agaba Nyaruhuma said before adding.

“It is a sign that Betway is committed and serious about making a difference in local sport,” she added.

The workshop which comes at a relevant time when Uganda’s sports industry is highly recognized on the International scene is also intended to explore the latest trends in international sport, job opportunities and commercial revenue in sports, fans engagements and brand positioning.

As a company, Betway intends to achieve improved club management; positioning and eventual sports development all around for extraordinary results as well as aiming at helping in exploring Uganda’s ultimate sporting potential.

Betway who sponsor six-time Uganda premier League champions Express FC will also seek to use this seminar as a platform from which all stakeholders can learn and share different experiences as far as the sports sector is concerned.

This Seminar will bring together all sports disciplines and stakeholders to share experiences, network and learn from each other for the good of the game and the industry at large.

These include basketball, football, rugby, tennis, futsal, handball, boxing, pool table, media, regulators, government institutions, marketing firms, among others.
