Both the playing and the non-playing staff of Uganda Cup winners BUL FC will have a share on the Shs100m which was promised by the club’s administrators, Football256 has learnt.

The Oil Manufacturers defeated Vipers SC 3-1 in the final that was played in Masindi on Sunday.

BUL landed themselves Shs50m from the Uganda Cup sponsors Stanbic Bank, as well as Shs100m from the club proprietors Bidco Uganda Limited, totaling to Shs150m.

It had been reported that the Shs100m was to be shared amongst the players and the technical staff but this website, has been told that even the non-playing staff will get a share of it.

Although the players and the coaches will walk away with the lion’s share of it, all the 54 members of the club will take something home off the money and other goodies.

If it was to be divided equally each member would be entitled to Shs1.85m but it remains upon the club to do their mathematics.

The prize money of Shs50m may be used in the registration process for next season according to a source that preferred anonymity.

Alex Isabirye’s charges defied off and made history when they delivered the club’s first-ever trophy in its 15 years of existence.

BUL will be playing in the CAF Confederation Cup and it will be the first time they appear on the continent.
