BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye has urged his players to be calm and concentrated as they commence their Stanbic Uganda Cup defence.
Last year’s winners will visit Buganda Region side Sparks FC in the Round of 64 at Kirondo Playground in Mukono on Monday.
“We have already inspected the pitch we are going to use but it is not good however, we have nothing to do we shall play and try to win,” Isabirye said ahead of the game before adding.
“The good thing is that every player is available and in good shape, all we need is concentration so that we get positive results,” he added.
BUL defeated Vipers SC 3-1 in the final that was played in Masindi to win their first trophy in their 15 years of existence.
The StarTimes Uganda Premier League side will be without last season’s top scorer Karim Ndugwa who moved on to Vipers.
However, they have added two players already striker Samuel Ssekamatte and midfielder Emmanuel Kalyowa and hopefully they will both mark their debuts on Monday.
Besides Sparks versus BUL, FUFA Big League side Ndejje University FC will visit Kampala Region side Ntinda United FC at Kampala Quality.
