Mujuzi Mustafa stole the headlines on the same evening Proline were crowned the winners of the 2019 Stanbic Uganda Cup with a 5-4 win over Bright Stars after a one all draw in normal time.
It’s not an everyday thing that a defender is named the most valuable player of the tournament and they also walk away with the golden boot at the same time.
It wasn’t a shock for the Cranes defender that he was voted the tournament’s MVP, and the fans who have followed this season’s Uganda cup will agree.
“I think I deserved to win the MV award,” Mujuzi told www.football-256.com before adding.
“But I wasn’t going to achieve this without the help of my teammates, they played a big role for the team too, reason we were able to achieve this.”

Mujuzi in his 20s has been sensational at the back providing that maturity, stability & composure that helped Proline FC to get where they’re at the moment. A proud moment indeed.
“We feel very proud to be crowned the champions for the Uganda Cup and the first team from the Fufa Big League to win this prestigious trophy”.
This will be a season Proline FC will always remember for the rest of their lives.
The fact that they are now back in the Uganda premier league, a big mountain to climb awaits them. The big question is, will they be in a better position to represent the country at the 2019/2019 Total CAF Confederation Cup?
