Defender Brian Majwega netted the only goal of the game as URA FC progressed to the Round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup following their 1-0 on aggregate victory over Mbarara City FC.
Prior to today’s game, there had never been a winner in this fixture in seven meetings with six draws in the league and a goalless draw from the first leg on Tuesday previously.

The Ankole Lions will now focus on attaining a better position in the league where they lie 11th on 17 points that is five points above the relegation zone after 16 games.
A home game against relegation strugglers MYDA FC on Tuesday, April 13 is their next task. Second placed URA will host fourth placed KCCA FC on the same day.

Proline held a 4-1 lead after the first leg, but the home sides almost levelled the tie as they raced into a 3-1 lead in stoppage time.
Hussien Saleh, Amos Kirya gave MYDA hope of a comeback but Brian Umony pulled a goal back in the 90th minute.
MYDA were awarded two penalties in added time with goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato saving one with Paul Musamali scoring the other as Proline held on for dear life to advance 5-4 on aggregate.
Meanwhile, the game between Luweero United and Onduparaka was postponed to Saturday morning following a heavy downpour that left the pitch in Luweero in a horrible state.
