Patrick Idiringi ‘Salvador’ is making new starts. Uganda’s favourite comedian has recently wedded his wife Daphine Franckstock, but that is not the only new path he is taking now.
Salvador has declared he will not be sticking by his vows towards Onduparaka anymore after declaring his love for KCCA.
Salvador has literally ‘seen days’ on almost every visit by his former club to KCCA’s MTN Omondi Stadium, the latest a humbling 8-0 mauling which not even he could find proper comedy lines.
“Allow me to officially declare today, December 14, 2020 my love for KCCA. This was after the mauling of my former club Omduparaka,” Salvador said during his morning show on Sanyu FM.
“My loyalty is bought; You cannot just be beaten 8-0 and think that we are going to stay loyal. I am now a staunch KCCA fan,” he added.
Salvador’s love for his home side Onduparaka FC is well documented, and has attended numerous matched since the club secured promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League in 2015.
The ‘man from Ombokolo’ is passionate about his football and has often spoken of his love for the Arua based club as well as his fondness to the tagline ‘Ama Onduparaka’.
KCCA visit arch-rivals SC Villa in their next game on Tuesday in Bombo, and Salvador will not be hoping for another humiliation.
