Bottom-of-the-table side Onduparaka FC will welcome top-of-the-table outfit Wakiso Giants FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds on Wednesday.
Onduparaka have had a poor season so far, they have played seven games lost four, and drawn three with a single point having been docked two points.
Meanwhile, Wakiso are in great form than any other team in the league. After eight games, the Purple Sharks have won five games, drawn one, and lost one apiece.
Given that they have not won any game this campaign, the Caterpillars remain the only team yet to register a victory in the SUPL this season and will be hoping to end that winless streak on Wednesday.
Onduapraka and Wakiso will be meeting only for the seventh time because the latter only gained promotion to the top flight only three seasons back.
In the previous six meetings, each team won twice and the remaining two games ended in stalemates.
Wednesday’s hosts have only scored twice in the league so far and they will rely on striker Emmanuel Okech who has scored one of their two goals. The other was scored by Dominic Abonga.
Ibrahim Kasule and Sharif Kimbowa have been in brilliant form recently and are some of the players, head coach John Ayala Luyinda will count on against Onduparaka.
