Express FC will be aiming at ending BUL FC’s unbeaten run when the two sides meet in the Star Times Uganda Premier League at Wankulukuku on Tuesday, the latter’s head coach James Odoch has vowed.

Coming into this bout, the oil manufacturers are yet to lose a league game this season after winning four games and drawing twice in six games.

“We have planned well for the game against BUL and this we have done according to how they play,” Odoch told the club media on Monday.

“They are in good form and leading the table but we want to fight hard and stop their unbeaten run.”

“If we can win we shall have closed the gap on them yet we have a game in hand meaning if we get maximum points from both games we shall be level with them.”

Alex Isabirye’s charges lead proceedings on the 15-team log with 14 points and they edged Onduparaka FC 1-0 in their most recent game.

Meanwhile, Odoch’s coached side have eight points in the seventh position and they also defeated Onduparaka 2-1 the last time out.

Express beat BUL twice last season after edging them 1-0 and 2-1 in the first and second leg respectively.

Odoch will be without midfielder Ivan Mayanja and Enock Ssebaggala due to illness.

The Red Eagles will rely on Allan Kayiwa who has scored three of their five goals managed so far this season.

On the other hand, the Jinja-based outfit will have joint leading goal scorers Richard Wandyaka and Karim Ndugwa to depend on. The duo has netted four goals a piece so far.
