Express FC and Arua Hill SC have only met twice in history and this is because the latter earned promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League last season.
In the two outings between the two, Arua Hill has been victorious on both occasions winning 2-0 and 1-0 in the first and second leg respectively last season.
Express head coach James Odoch has indicated that they will be targeting victory over the Leopards to avoid a three game winless streak.
“Arua Hill is a tricky team and we have never won against them but hopeful we shall register our first win against them this time around,” Odoch said ahead of the game before adding.
“We have had tough times recently losing twice but the team has been playing well and all we need to do is continue working together as a unit.”
“There is hunger amongst everyone to get back to winning ways and all focus will be on getting three points from tomorrow’s game,” he added.
Express comes into Friday’s game having lost their previous two games, 2-0 and 3-2 to Soltilo Bright Stars FC and Wakiso Giants respectively while Arua Hill won 2-1 against rivals Onduparaka FC the last time out.
On the 15-team SUPL log, Express occupies fifth place with 14 points while Arua Hill is positioned eighth with 13 points after both teams playing nine games.
Odoch will be without forward Allan Kayiwa who continues on the sideline due to illness. Joseph Akandwanaho who also missed the last game through illness is available for selection.
Meanwhile, Arua Hill head coach Livingstone Mbabazi is suspended for one game while goalkeeper Richard Anyama and defender are suspended for two games.
The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel suspended them due to due to their misconduct during 2-0 defeat to Gaddafi Modern FC in Jinja.
