Gaddafi FC ensured Arua Hill SC hardly smell any sort of comfort as they beat them in a 2-0 victory at Kakindu Stadium, Jinja on Wednesday.
Alex Kitata and Brian Kalumba were the chief tormentors ensuring Arua Hill SC suffer their fourth straight loss in the Star Times Uganda Premier League.
The Leopards have now lost against Gaddafi, SC Villa, Vipers SC and URA FC.
There was not much to witness in the first stanza as it came to an end without any side taking control of what seemed to be a tight contest.
In the 60th minute, Kitata broke the deadlock having guided home Godfrey Lwesibawa’s accurate delivery hence placing the home side ahead.
The visitors felt undone and expressed their displeasure for counting the goal. Gaddafi made a quick restart which caused complaints from the Arua side who later physically assaulted the match officials.
However, it was more salt in the wounds of the Kongolo as Paul Musamali was given matching orders for a foul on Lwesibawa in the 74th minute.
Five minutes later, Kalumba scored an empty net after a defensive error by Arua to give Gaddafi a second.
The result takes Gaddafi to seventh with 12 points on the 15 team log while Arua Hill are 10th with 10 points in eight games.
In their next games, Gaddafi will visit KCCA on Tuesday, November 29 while Arua Hill SC host Onduparaka on Wednesday at the Barifa.
