Unbeaten KCCA FC stretched their lead on top of the Startimes Uganda Premier League log to six points after a 1-0 win at Arua Hill SC on Friday.
Striker Davis Kasirye who came on as a first half substitute for the injured Julius Poloto, scored a 37th minute goal and it is what proved the difference between the two side at fulltime.
It was Kasirye’s fourth goal of the season and it was enough to take the Kasasiro Boys to 19 points from seven outings, six points above second-placed Vipers SC who are on 13 points.
However, the Venoms have two games in hand and will play one of them on Saturday, November 27 when they host URA FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
A loss for the Kongolo, meant that they dropped to 11th on the 16-team SUPL log on seven points and will visit Busoga United on Tuesday, November 30.
While top of the table side KCCA will be at home when they host Jinja based side BUL FC on Wednesday, December 1.
