URA FC striker Derrick Nsibambi returned to the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo to face his former employers KCCA FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday.

Nsibambi came on in the 63rd minute for George Ssenkaaba and he was on target with his first touch in less than 20 seconds of his introduction as the Tax Collectors and the Kasasiro Boys played to a one all draw.

Living Kabon who had also come on as a substitute in the place of Viane Ssekajugo at the restart of the second half made a brilliant run down the left and Nsibambi was at the end of it.

Six minutes later, Julius Poloto equalized for the home team thanks to Rogers Atube’s well calculated through ball.

KCCA had the best clear goal scoring opportunities, especially in the second half but could not put most of them away.

Before URA took the lead Rogers Mato missed a one on one opportunity with goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi when his effort hit the low post.

Substitute Tshisungu Kakonde should have won it for the hosts in the 90th minute when he nodded a free header slightly wide.

Morley Byekwaso’s charges remained sixth on the 15-team SUPL log with 13 points while Sam Timbe’s coached side maintained eighth place with 10 points.

KCCA’s next game is away from home and they will be visiting SC Villa on Friday, November 22nd in the Kampala Derby that will be played in Lira at Akibua Stadium.

SC Villla will be hosting their next five home games in Lira due to the suspension from Muteesa Stadium, Wankulukuku because of their fans’ hooliganism.

URA will on the other hand return home at Nakisunga Saza Grounds to host Vipers SC in another blockbuster a day later.
