Star Times Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC are working around the clock to renew the contract of talisman Viane Sekajugo following the expiry of his contract.
The diminutive forward has been a pillar in the Caterpillars side since joining in 2016 from Jinja based side JMC Hippos.
He became a fans’ favorite in the 2017/18 season following the departure of prodigal son Muhammad Shaban.
In his maiden season, Ssekajugo went on to score eight league goals and one Uganda Cup goal before netting six times in the league and twice in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
With his contract running out, a number of topflight clubs have already expressed interest in his services with new entrants Wakiso Giants leading the race.
