Uganda Cranes and Proline FC striker Edrisa ‘Torres’ Lubega has put pen to paper to another year with the Stanbic Uganda Cup winners after loans at Floridsdorfer AC and SV Ried.
Lubega signed for Proline in 2015 and was viral in their promotion to the top flight last season. In February 2017, Lubega was loaned out to the Austrian Football Second League club Floridsdorfer AC.
He made his league debut for the club on 24 February 2017 in a 1-0 home victory over Austria Lustenau. In July 2018, Lubega was loaned out again, this time to SV Ried on a one-year loan with an option to extend for another year which didn’t happen
He made his league debut for the club on 5 August 2018, registering an assist on Thomas Mayer’s opening goal as Ried defeated WSG Wattens 2-1.

He scored his first competitive goal for the club on 17 August 2018 in a 3-0 home victory over FC Liefering. His goal, scored in the 45th minute and assisted by Manuel Kerhe, made the score 1-0 to Rie
Torres made his senior international debut on 27 January 2016, coming on as a 79th-minute substitute for Erisa Ssekisambu in a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in the African Nations Championship Group Stages.
At Proline he joins Ivan Bogere, Hamis Diego Kizza and Alfred Leku as the side looks at putting up an impressive display in the new 2019/2020 StarTimes Uganda Premier League
