With football leagues across the world gradually returning following a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic and more expected to return this weekend, some Ugandan players are back in action at their respective clubs but do you know how they fared?

In the Estonian Meistriliiga, forward Edrisa Lubega got his second successive start of the season and broke the deadlock on 25 minutes for Paide Linnameeskond before he was taken off after 70 minutes for Joseph Saliste as they sailed to a 2-0 victory away at Tammeka. The strike was his third this season from five games.
The Vietnam V-league also returned after three months with matchday three, Ugandan players Moses Oloya, Geoffrey Baba Kizito and Joseph Mpande all getting playing time at their respective clubs.
Mpande skippered Haiphong FC and played the entire game in their goalless draw at home to Ho Chi Minh City.
Oloya started before paving way for Nga Van Dai in the 67th minute as his Hanoi T&T side humbled Hoang Anh Gia Lai 3-0 at San Van Dong Hang Stadium.
Meanwhile midfielder Baba Kizito featured in the entire encounter as his Than Quang Ninh side lost 0-2 at home to Hang Linh Ha Tinh.
Elsewhere, in the Israel Ligat Ha’al relegation round defender Timothy Awany played the entire game for Ashdod as they suffered a 3-0 away defeat to Ironi Kiryat Shmona.
William Kizito Luwagga was introduced in the 60th minute for Senegalese Boubacar Traore as his Hapoel Kfar Saba beat Hapoel Ra’anana 2-0.
In the Danish Premier League, midfielder Robert Kakeeto came on in the 68th minute for Magnus Christensen as his Aalborg side lost 3-2 to AGF at the Aalborg Portland Park.
Additionally, Moses Opondo was introduced in the 80th minute for Max Fenger as Odense humbled Esbjerb 3-1 at the Nature Energy Park stadium.
Defender Isaac Muleme and his FC Nitra side played to a goalless draw at home to Ruzomberok in a friendly match prior to the new Slovakia Premier League season that kicks off on Saturday 13, June.
The Swedish Premier League where defenders Ronald Dungu Mukiibi and Isaac Ssewankambo at Ostersunds FK play kicks off on Sunday 14, June, while the Turkish Premier League in which Farouk Miya features for Konyaspor also returns on the same day.
