It’s one thing to believe, and another to work towards that believe, Express FC new acquisition Brian Umony has both and if you have followed the ups and down in his career you know nothing can stop him.
The former KCCA FC forward believes he is good enough to play for the Uganda Cranes again, Umony revealed this on Friday morning at Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankuluku.
“I have got a chance to play again after a long time without playing. I can as well play again for Uganda Cranes if God wishes because I believe everything is possible,” Umony told www.football-256.com before adding.
“I am here to contribute to the club and my main target is scoring as many goals as possible because I am experienced enough to deliver at this level.”
“I am excited and happy to join Express FC. I thank the team’s officials for giving such a golden opportunity to express myself again and I hope it goes well,” he added.

In 2016 Umony fractured his leg while featuring for St George in Ethiopia, he has spent some good time on the sidelines trying to recover. He even tried to have stints with different clubs until he settled for Express.
Kefa Kisala is confident Umony is a great addition to his team and he will help the club to the maximum especially after overcoming the career threatening injury.
“We have been monitoring his progress and he is 100% fit to play for a team like Express,” Express head coach Kefa Kisala told this website

“Umony is going to benefit our team because in the first round of the season, we created more chances than any other team but couldn’t bury them.”
“Getting a lethal striker like Umony will help us convert those chances into goals because he has done it before elsewhere and for some time,” he added.
Besides Umony, Express FC have unveiled Frank “Zaga” Tumyesigye from Vipers on loan, Sadiq Ssekyembe from Katwe United, Ivan Ocholit from Wembley FC and Goffin Geoffrey Oyirwoth from Buddo SS.
