After losing midfielder Siraje Ssentamu to Vipers SC, URA have acquired the services striker Anwaru Ntege Mustafa from relegated side Ndejje Lions ahead of the 2019/2020 season at an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old striker penned a three-year contract with the club but with an option of extending it for another year according to his performance.
“It feels so good to sign for a top club like URA Football Club,” Ntege was quoted by URA FC’s official website www.urafc.co.ug.

“It is a challenge for me but I need challenges in my life to better my career. URA FC has good players like Shafik Kagimu and many others who I can’t wait to play with,” he added.
Ntege expects URA FC to help him fulfil his dreams of winning the league’s golden boot as well as playing for the national team.
“I want to be the top scorer in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and to also feature in the National team and URA has the platform to help me archive that,” he noted.

Previously, Ntege played for JMC Hippos before joining Ndejje University in August 2015 where he scored seven goals in the FUFA Big League during his debut season.
During the 2016/2017 season, he led Ndejje University to top-flight football and last season he was Ndejje’s top scorer netting seven goals in the UPL.
Unfortunately, Ndejje was unable to maintain top-flight status and as a result, they got relegated back to Big League.
