Vipers SC head coach Roberto Oliveira and Bright Stars FC forward Nelson Senkatuka rounded off their brilliant performances in November with the Coach and Player of the Month Awards respectively.

Oliveira guided the Venoms to a seven-game unbeaten run last month when they won six games and drew the other.

The Uganda Premier League defending champions beat Blacks Power, Arua Hill, and URA 1-0 each, UPDF 4-0, Maroons 3-0, and SC Villa 2-0 while they shared spoils in a 1-1 draw with Wakiso Giants FC.

The Brazilian gaffer helped Vipers to accumulate 19 points from the possible 21 and he earned a 33% of the online votes from the fans.

KCCA’s Morley Byekwaso and Wakiso Giants’ John Ayala Luyinda are the two coaches Oliveira beat to the accolade.

Meanwhile, Senkatuka scored five goals and managed one assist while he was the man of the match thrice.

He scored once and made an assist against Onduparaka and bagged a brace apiece against Express and BUL FC. He earned 57% of the online votes from fans.

Senkatuka shrugged off competition from Wakiso’s Ibrahim Kasule and Gaddafi Modern’s Alex Kitata to win the award.

Oliveira and Senkatuka took home an award each, a pilsner plaque and a sum of one million Uganda shillings each.

It is important to note that the October awards were won by BUL FC where their head coach Alex Isabirye and forward Richard Wandyaka were named the Coach and Player of the Month respectively.
