Living Kabon has been confirmed as a URA FC player after agreeing to a two-year employment contract with the Nakawa based side.
The exciting playmaker, nicknamed Messi for his fast dribbling skills joins the Tax Collectors from West Nile giants Onduparaka FC where he has spent the last six years.
He had so many clubs knocking on the door, but he chose one that according to him would suit his aspirations.
Kabon’s move has come at an opportune time where he has just had his best season (2020-2021) with the Caterpillars where he scored eleven crucial goals to aid the club’s UPL survival mission.
“I am glad to have completed this move after all the rumours in the media,” Kabon told the club’s media in his first interview.
“I chose URA FC because my vision of the future is proportional to the project the club is putting up,” he added.
At the AbaBet Greenlight Stadium in Arua, Kabon made his mark as an outstanding player by the time of his departure from the club. He has been a fans’ favourite, without a doubt.
Kabon further told the club website that he is ready to learn from the experienced players at the club whose fundamental role in him settling at the club will be paramount.
His first assignment will be in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round when they play Ethiopia Coffee over two legs in September.
