Star Times Uganda Premier League side URA FC are the latest side to join the race to capture the signature of defender cum midfielder Denis Iguma.
The tax collectors tried to sign the former SC Villa defender in January this year only for negotiations to fall through, but are back in the race with high hopes of capturing his signature this time round.
However, they face stiff competition from Kuwait sides Al Shabab FC and Kazma FC, a side the player last featured for before suffered an injury on his left knee last year.
The setback forced Iguma to miss the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt.
KCCA FC, Villa and Egyptian side Ismaily FC are the other sides that have expressed interest in Iguma’s services since successfully recovering from the knee injury.
Iguma has previously featured for Villa, the now-defunct Sports Club Victoria University, Al Ahed in Lebanon and Kuwait side Kazma.
