Wakiso Giants FC earned an emphatic 7-2 win against relegation candidates Kitara FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu, Wakiso, to register their biggest victory in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Goals from Joshua Lubwama, Vianne Ssekajugo, Edward Satulo, Gadafi Wahab, Rahmat Senfuka, Amos Muwonge drove the Purple Sharks past Kitara FC as Edson Agondza pulled back a brace for the visitors.

It took only 14 minutes for Wakiso to take the lead, Joshua Lubwama converting from the spot after Viane Sekajugo was brought down inside the penalty area.

Two minutes later, Wakiso Giants captain Hassan Ssenyonjo was forced to pave way for Gadaffi Wahab after the latter got injured.

Five minutes to the end of the first half, Satulo put his name on the scoresheet with his first goal for the Purple Sharks, before Sskajugo was at the end of a beautiful team goal to put the hosts 3-0 up by halftime.

Midfielder Wahab then made it four in the 57th minute to sink Kitara even further. In the 65th minute, Rahmat Senfuka scored the fifth before Sekajugo completed his brace moments later.
