With George Ssimwogerere likely to be relieved of his duties as Express FC head coach, Wasswa Bbosa will take over as new head coach at the Wankulukuku based side.
Football256.com can reliably confirm that Bbosa will work along with James Odoch as his assistant and Sam Kawalya as goalkeeping coach replacing James Magala.
Bbosa a former Express player has had a love-hate relationship with the 10 time Uganda cup winners.
Just like Bossa, Kawalya and Odoch also prominently featured for Express in the late 90s and early 2000s together with the senior national football team the Cranes.
Odoch’s last job was at Wakiso Giants where he was Kefa Kisala’s assistant while Kawalya had a head coach and goalkeeping coach stints at Mbarara City.
His last job at Express was in 2016 while Nakiwala Kiyinji was club head but before that, he had had at least two other spells with the Red Eagles.
Express is 13th on the log with 21 points after 20 games played, with 10 more games left, Wasswa Bossa’s task is to ensure the team finishes above the relegation zone starting with a tricky away trip at Onduparaka FC.
