Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa is contented that his side has prepared well enough for the forthcoming 2020/21 season in as far as signing new players is concerned.
The Red Eagles have been busy in this transfer window which saw them sign up to 11 new players which Bbosa believes that it is a great job done by the technical team.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has made it tough for everyone but I am happy we’ve prepared well especially with the new players,” Bbosa told the Express FC website.
“I would like to thank my technical team for a good job done. Every one of those players will come good during the season because what we want is to see the club compete again,” he added.
Bbosa has now asked the club’s fans to be patient for positive results as he believes that the club is heading into the right direction.
“I would like to call upon all the fans to be patient with the club, they should look at the changes as a positive direction because it’s intended to take the club to greater heights,” he noted.
The Wankulukuku based club has signed players like Cryspus Kusiima, Denis Otim, Richard Bbosa and Mahad Yaya Kakooza.
Others include Godfrey Lwesibawa, Abel Eturude, Ivan Nsengiyunva, Baker Sakah, Charles Musiige, John Byamukama and Kiragga Mustafa.
Express FC targets silverware in the 2020/21 season a feat they last achieved in 2012 when they were crowned league winners.
They finished ninth last season with 31 points from 25 games played when the 2019/20 season was cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
