Express FC assistant coach James Odoch is confident that the team will manage to collect all the available points when they make the trip to face BUL Bidco FC at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe on Saturday afternoon.

The six time StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions carry a disappointed feeling into the game after playing to a 1-1 draw against rivals KCCA despite being the better side on the day at the Betway Muteesa II Stadium on Wednesday.

The fixture against BUL doesn’t provide an easier task either with Express yet to register victory over BUL in Jinja, but they have enjoyed a bright start to the season winning three and drawing four of their opening seven games.

“Tomorrow’s game is a massive one for us and we want all points as we face BUL FC,” Odoch told Express media team after the teams last training session on Friday.

“Everybody is focused for tomorrow’s game, actually we have been trying to correct the mistakes we made in the previous game against KCCA so that they do not resurface in tomorrow’s game,” he added.

“Currently we have no injury and I can surely confirm all the boys are set, everyone is available and ready to play tomorrow’s game as our prime target stands we want all the points from the game.”

“I pray that we travel well and reach safely in one piece so that we do our final touches ahead of the game against a stubborn side,” Odoch concluded.

Express and BUL have met five times in the league with the latter winning all three games they have played in Jinja. However, Express will carry memories of their 2-0 victory over their hosts in 2018; which remains the biggest winning margin in the encounter to date.

The Red Eagles have managed to win once in the three games they have played away from home that was the 1-0 narrow win against URA FC at the Arena of Visions, with the rest being stalemates against Mbarara City and Onduparaka.

BUL has blown hot and cold in what is head coach Arthur Kyesimira’s first full season at the club. They have managed just two victories including one against KCCA, a draw but have suffered four losses in seven games so far.

Express search for their maiden win in a game they are hosted by BUL FC. However they have managed three wins and four stalemates in the on going SUPL 2020/21 season.
